Transformational Leadership: A Wake Up Call in A Cup of Coffee

The concept of transformational leadership was built upon the principle of leaders raising the level of consciousness of their followers to think and act like leaders. Organizations have long expected their associates to solve problems and think like a leader; however, they have not provided their leaders with the tools necessary to aid the team member in the paradigm shift required. The benefit of transformational leadership would provide an organization with the skills to achieve goals while empowering everyone to make decisions. The result is a two-fold benefit; the goals of an organization are met and the team member can begin his or her own journey of transformation toward leadership.
